Dog in a Box had it's humble beginnings in Portland, Oregon as the Dog House Restaurant. It was only 250 square feet and had no seating; walk-up and drive-through only. We might have been small, but we were popular, serving as many as 400 people a day. In the big city of Portland, it quickly became a home-town favorite. Our focus is on recipes, variations on tastes, textures, spices, and all the components of sausages from many European cultures.
